This week, Stuart Robertson joins us for a discussion on getting your web comic project started.  He drops a huge amount of links, which I summarize below.

Paul and I really had fun chatting with Stuart and hope he'll join us again sometime in the future!

Enjoy!

Jake and Adam discuss Toasted Ravioli, a collection of short stories penned by members of the local St. Louis Writers' Meetup Group.  Since these are shorter stories, this is a shorter episode.

Our next book for the June recording will be Lucifer's Hammer by Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle.

Francis is absent from this episode because someone stole his car, so Paul and Adam take some time investigating good storytelling.  Some of the examples that are put forth are the movie Seven and Nausicaa, a graphic novel.

The boys talk about the latest comic, The Man with the Unclean Hand.  Listening to some of the feedback that we've gotten from friends and family, we've come to the conclusion that we're having trouble with the narrative portion of the comics.

We lay down some potential solutions and things we're going to try when moving forward.

In episode 4, we discuss some of the problems we’ve been having on our end, as well as some of the things we’re going to try and do to keep things moving.  Paul complains about what he perceives as his biggest difficulties, and Francis once again brings up Starship Troopers and Lost.

In this episode, the guys lay down some noise about creative projects.  Francis and Paul list out their sources of their inspiration, and we make fun of Star Trek and Starship Troopers.

At the end of the episode, there is a review of the first posted comic strip.  Please log onto the forums and hit us with some feedback!

In this episode, we get around to giving a proper introduction to the entire project. I’m not going to say that it’s the most interesting topic, but we do line out what we’re planning on doing
